We’ve done all the heavy lifting for you with the strength chart linked at the bottom of this page.  So there’s no guesswork involved in finding your ideal magnification level!

Just click on the “Printer Friendly Format” link below.  Print the “Selecting Reading Glasses Strength” chart.  Be sure the text box on the printed page is 4.5 inches wide.

Now, hold the chart about 14 inches from your face, WITHOUT GLASSES.  The first line you have trouble reading has your reader strength listed after it.  It’s that easy.

Please note, you may have previously used a higher strength than the eye chart advises.  Discount bin readers usually have poor lens quality, producing a cloudy effect that may require a higher level of magnification to compensate.  FunSpecs lenses are precision crafted for optimum clarity, so you may select the actual strength that your eyes require.  As a result, many new FunSpecs customers have discovered their ideal reader strength is up to 1.00 less than what they have used in the past!
